About the Author
Rachael Warecki holds an MFA in Fiction from Antioch University Los Angeles. She won the 2017 Tiferet Prize for Fiction and received a Best of the Net nomination in 2014, and has been selected for residencies at Ragdale and at the Wellstone Center in the Redwoods. Her short fiction has appeared widely, including in the Los Angeles Review, The Masters Review, Midwestern Gothic, Tahoma Literary Review, and elsewhere. She is on the leadership team of Women Who Submit, a nation-wide literary organization dedicated to providing women and non-binary writers with the time and resources to submit their work for publication.
In addition to her MFA, Rachael holds degrees in English and Spanish literature from Scripps College, and in Education & Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
Rachael works in public relations, including social media, by day. In her spare time, she practices photography, specializing in author portraits. She is currently and perpetually at work on a novel, and when she’s not doing any of the aforementioned activities, you can find her online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and her monthly newsletter.
