About the Author
Rachael Warecki’s novel-in-progress was a finalist in the 2019 CRAFT First Chapters Contest. Her short fiction has received the Tiferet Prize, semifinalist honors in the American Short(er) Fiction Contest, and a Best of the Net nomination, and has appeared widely in publications including the Los Angeles Review, The Masters Review, Midwestern Gothic, Tahoma Literary Review, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Antioch University Los Angeles and has been selected for residencies at Ragdale and at the Wellstone Center in the Redwoods. She is on the leadership team of Women Who Submit, a nation-wide literary organization dedicated to providing women and non-binary writers with the time and resources to submit their work for publication.
By day, Rachael works in public relations and marketing, with extensive experience in news media relations and social media. In her spare time, she practices photography, specializing in author portraits.
