“A Month of Drunken Sundays” Earns Glimmer Train Honorable Mention

The post title’s self-explanatory, but my short story “A Month of Drunken Sundays” earned an honorable mention in Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award for New Writers contest! In the words of Linda Swanson-Davies, one of Glimmer Train’s co-editors, the story “was in the top 5% of over 1,000 entries” …so I’m pretty excited. The story’s also out on submission to several other contests and magazines, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll hear more good news soon!
